It’s with great honor to announce that we have crossed yet another milestone in the history of Milliner & Associates. November 5th marks 10 years of operations and I couldn’t be more proud of what we’ve all accomplished together.
Not only has our firm risen up to become one of the most reputable search and staffing firms in Indiana, but we’ve taken great pride in investing back into our industry and by paying it forward with our community outreach initiatives.
Without the dedicated support and caring of our amazing staff, none of this would have ever been possible. As I revisited my “5 year Anniversary” blog from 2012, I smiled as I stated how “blessed I am as a father, husband, son, brother, community member and business owner” – which is still so true today.
A lot has changed and evolved since that blog post…I never would have thought a firm of our size could ever be recognized nationally by the American Staffing Association; we’ve seen firsthand the outcomes of our efforts from making a positive impact in the lives of youth at Decatur Central High School’s Jobs for America’s Graduates (“JAG”) program; our internship program has continued to provided a true understanding of what the staffing industry is all about within the education community and we’ve seen our interns go on to lead amazing careers – all while placing people in jobs and building long-standing business relationships.
And finally, we are so very grateful to our clients who have put trust in us to help them find the right talent for their organizations and to our candidates who have empowered us to present new career opportunities to them so they can provide sustainable employment for their families. Their demands, challenges and feedback have pushed us to go forward and improve how we operate. Not only have they made us a part of their lives, but they have also helped us reach out to more who need our services.
10 years…wow, when it comes down to it – I guess it’s really just days and hours of time. But for us, it’s what we can do with that time that really matters and I’m very excited to see what the next 10 years will bring!
